Meadow Creeek Appalachian Tomme-Style

Densely textured with a supple tender mouth feel, this cheese is mild and mellow, gently buttery with a hint of mushrooms, almost earthy undertones and a lovely lemony almost spicy finish.

The late season cheeses 6 or 7 months of age are still lactic creamy and buttery, the fresh lemony notes have mellowed and roasted nuts, caramel with a spicy vanilla hint now abound

Grass fed cattle accounts for the golden buttercup color.The unique color reflects the high concentration of beta-carotene in the milk.

Perfectly pairs with a Pinot Blanc or Grigio, and also with your favorite smooth lager! Serve with summer’s best stone fruits, vine ripe tomatoes, crisp cool cucumbers. This cheese melts brilliantly.
